The William James and Francis S. Hutchins Library, built in 1966 was renovated and expanded in 1991. The library's ground and first floor interiors were overhauled in 2016. Hutchins Library has three levels of collections varying from bound periodicals to DVDs, all organized via a computerized catalog. Hutchins Library offers a multitude of services to Berea College Faculty, Staff, and Students including; interlibrary loans, individual study carrel spaces, study/seminar rooms, instructional services, Writing Resources Center, and access to online research databases.
